This clinic is simply a "tryout" for the tryout and an opportunity to get in extra touches before the season. Our coaches emphasize those "intangibles" that coaches look for in student-athletes, regardless of the sport you're trying out for.

Open to any female athlete (not just Masuk students) - grades 9-12 interested in playing HS Lacrosse.

This program will be directed by Coach Megan Gaffney, current Assistant Coach at Pomperaug High School

Megan Gaffney has a deep love for the sport of lacrosse. She was a four year varsity player for Pomperaug High School, leading the state of Connecticut in assists. After high school, Megan went on to play club lacrosse at James Madison University where she helped lead them to a National Championship and made appearances in the tournament each year. Coach Gaffney is currently entering her fourth year as Pomperaug High School’s Assistant Varsity Coach. She considers it an honor to coach for her alma mater and to give back to the program that helped shape her lacrosse career. Additionally, Megan also runs Pomperaug Youth clinics in the fall.
